Spinning and bunny plucking. These fun ladies sat across from us at our last show. They were dressed in costume for their demonstations. As they were best friends, they had a great time sharing their craft. This bunny was a huge buck. Not a real people person she said as her doe is. He is molting and she simply pulled out the loose fur and spun it right from him. And he sat there for hours without a fuss enjoying her plucking and stroking. The other lady was spinning some wool fluff from her sheltland sheep (I am thinking it was sheep....). The photo shows the whirl of the bobbin. She kept it going at a steady clip all day.

So - I am to understand that she was spinning yarn from a LIVE bunny? Fasinating. But then I guess that does make sense now that I think about it. Great pictures :))
