Just a farm raised girl, who loves creating in fiber and paint. Of late, I am a crocheting addict. God has been so good to me. I greatly appreciate His grace in my life.

I need to find a good basting spray. And not June Taylor. It is gummy and yucky and I am so over it! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please and thank you!
I know someone who uses hairspray. It's a lot cheaper. I've only used it on tiny quilted wall-hangings, though, and it worked fine. Maybe if you "google" it online, you can find out more about it?

I love 505 - it's not sticky or gummy and doesn't smell toxic. Just a light hand with the spray is really all you need to get the job done.

505 hands down! I love it!
I use the 505 and love it. The June Taylor one smells too strong for me.
I've only know about the JT spray which is Very Strong! Good to know there are alternatives...now just to find the 505.
I've not had good luck with the 505. I prefer the Sullivan's spray baste in the pretty pink can!!
I'm a 505 fan too. Here is a blog post on how to use it.
