God's word is where I go for comfort and strength. Just knowing that His word is truth is awesome. I thank you for sharing these verses; we all need to read and hear them.

Thanks, Angela. This is something I needed to reflect on today. How did you know? : )

I especially love Phil 4:6! You know, so often, what we ask for is a "want" and not a "need"! I'm learning to let God supply what I need, instead of me *telling* Him what I want!!

I like the verse in Matthew. God is the only place for rest. Have you read the book "Soaring on High:Spiritual Insights from the life on an eagle" by Mary Whelchel? I references many of these verses and is a quick, comforting read. I highly recommend it, I am re-reading it for the third time. I found since I was sick this spring I needed to remember how to soar!!

These are lovely! Thanks for the reminder! I find when I am going through challenges that the scriptures bring such comfort. When I lean on God's almighty power and trust in Him to help me (while doing my part, of course) he truly blesses me!
