A lil' something quilty.
This is the runner I started at Retreat. The blocks are paper pieced. I wanted to make it different, but couldn't figure out what I had in my head. LOL But it is finished. I machined quilted it. Measures out 25 x 9 1/2-inches. Could be a wall hanging also.

Then I worked up this lil crazy quilt doll blanket. I thought it would be sweet for the Bleuette dolls. It measures 10 x 12. The embroidery doesn't show up too good in the pic. I added the word Love and a metal heart charm. Nothing fancy in my stitches, but I enjoy doing the handwork. And can do it with my feet up resting. Both pieces were mostly done using Civil War Reproductions, Kansas Troubles and a bit of Thimbleberries. All from my scrap stash except the backings and sashings.

Both of these are darling! I love scrappy quilts. The table runner looks great! I might try something like that. I'm also very partial to doll quilts. I seem to always have one in the works. In fact, I have one in my blog heading picture. I hope you'll visit me.

Those are both very nice projects. I think your embroidery on the crazy block is great and I just love the little charm you added. The perfect finishing touch.

Cute little runner and mini quilt! I didn't see you working on that at retreat...you were being sneaky, I guess. :) The embroidery looks perfect!

Look at you, being the busy little stitcher! Glad you are able to stitch while resting up. The table runner is so scrappy. I love it. And of course the little quilt is adorable. Good job!
