I just wanted to share this

I have been sitting outside tonight in the wooden porch swing. Holding my pooh pillow and just swinging. At 3am. Listening to the birds sing. The very birds that God is taking care of. He will take of me too. And my headaches. And my medical bills. And my family. And my friends. He will take care of us all.

I am glad you found a place of peace on that swing. I know it is often so hard to "let go and let God"....but we really have no choice, do we?

Oh....what a sweet post....I am sorry for your headaches....I get them frequently as well but it seems yours are keeping you up....

The very hardest time to "think yourself well" is when you feel so crummy. Keep holding on to your pooh pillow, swinging and holding positive thoughts. You seem to have a very good attitude despite what you're having to deal with. Something that really helped me, even more than keeping the good thoughts in my head, was to write them down. Over and over. No bad thoughts or anything negative. Only the good ones. Over and over.

One of my favorite things to do at night...hold down the porch furniture and listen to the night sounds. I was keeping you company last night...
You're tucked into prayer.
Are you drinking enough water? One source of headache is dehydration.

He will because He is awesome! At 3AM is was outside staring at the stars with the new puppy thinking of all the people I know all around the world that are blanketed by the same stars, wondering if any of them were outside with me and what we would talk about.

There is truth in the scripture "Be still, and know I am God." It has brought me peace in many a storm.

I can "feel" the calm in your post. Taking in nature, no matter what time of day or night is a wonderful way to be closer to God. No distractions, only the stillness and quiet. May God bless you Angela.
