What a lovely bouquet! I grew up with a backyard full of lilacs! It was the sweetest smelling backyard every spring! I was in lilac heaven. Unfortunately, I was the only one in my family who WASN'T allergic so they eventually got chopped down....saddest day of my life.
I love the smell of lilacs...had a LARGE bush in NJ and some tree people crushed it when taking a tree down nearby. They replaced it with a dinky, tiny bush...which we took with us when we moved to Delaware, but it hardly has any flowers and I miss the other one and the WONDERFUL smell...it was near my bedroom window and I looked forward to that every spring! Yours are LOVELY!!!

Congratulations on getting that daughter of yours hitched...now it's time for mama to get some rest so she's ready for the onslaught...Can you believe it's 4 weeks from today?

You have flowers Angela??? I have snow and frozen ground still... hoping for warm up, but I think flowers are a long long long way away! :-(
