I am still here. Just not having a good week healthwise. Have been putzing about though, trying to work on little things. I love to embroidery. It is just basic/primitive style to most people. But it makes me happy. I made up 4 little take-a-long needlebooks with pockets. Just a simple project. They are 4 x 8-inches opened up. With a 3 x 6-inch insert of red wool for needles. I thought the pockets were deep enough to hold a small pair of snips, thread and thimble. I used a thin pellon under the crazy foundation to give it some body and a bit of poof. I got the idea when I was copying Michelle's tea cozies. These are just bigger.
A friend ran in the Relay for Life last night in my honor. How sweet was that? :o)

What cute needle cases. I have been thinking about making something like this for my club members for Christmas and just kind of toying aroun with the idea. I love the ones you have made with the crazy quilt blocks. I had not thought about using wool on the inside, but rather felt. I think wool would be so much better!

I love these!

That idea would be really neat bigger too...sort of a case for an on-the-go embroidery project. One side of the pocket big enough for the hoop/fabric...the other side for floss. I think I need me one of those! LOL!
