Just a thought

"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are."
~Teddy Roosevelt
I am working on contentment in my life. I thought this quote applied to that idea well.
I am blessed. ~Angela

Those are such wise words. It is a great quotation. I remember reading in a book once the experiences of a woman who said a big piece to her finding contentment came in allowing herself to slow down.

I always find that hard and it is even more difficult when I don't feel well. Because I want to distract myself from feeling so bad. She said she would stop to really look at things around her, the beauty of the soap bubbles when she was washing dishes, or she would sit on the ground and really look at the grass and the clouds, like a child would.

Now the worse I feel, the more time I try to make for things like that. The beauty of creation helps us to see our Father's personality, his love for us, it renews our own desire to be loving and creative.

I hope you have a wonderful day ahead and find many moments of sweet contentment. Delisa :)
